The OVM celebrates the completion of seventh year (and tenth session) of the CrossRoad summer institute! Once again, the OVM ran two sessions of CrossRoad this summer in response to the large number of applicants, hosting 60 students from twenty-six different states and Canada, and representing seven Orthodox jurisdictions. Mary Long and Daniel Belonick worked together again as Director and Assistant Director respectively to lead a team of five program staff members, two student interns, and one videographer for CrossRoad’s 2010 sessions.
CrossRoad combines the greatest offerings of Hellenic College/Holy
Cross: faculty instruction, a talented staff of graduate students, the
beautiful campus overlooking Boston, and the exciting city of Boston
itself. The ten-day program includes classes in Orthodox theology, daily
chapel services, parish visits, vocational discussions, and service
activities. Now in its seventh year, CrossRoad engages some of the best and
brightest youth from your community and around the nation to discern how they
can match their God-given strengths and talents for the needs of the world. To

This year, thanks to overwhelming interest from qualified candidates, CrossRoad will again offer two sessions! Students from the United States and Canada are invited to take part in an exciting summer vocations exploration program designed to help them discern their life callings and match their God-given gifts with the needs of the world.
Now in its sixth year, CrossRoad combines the greatest gifts of Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology through faculty instruction and participation, an enthusiastic staff of graduate students, the beautiful campus overlooking Boston and of course the exciting city of Boston itself.
