The Round Table

Once a month the members of the RoundTable gather over a hearty supper to weigh the vocational implications of selected contemporary issues.  The only requirements are a voracious appetite, a sharp mind, and a desire for thoughtful reflection and discussion.

 Vocation Bible Study

Each Semester, OVM staff members host a four-session discussion on biblical perspectives on calling.  Through these discussions, which in the past have focused on the call narratives of biblical figures, students will glean insight for hearing God's call in their own lives.

Exploration of the Priestly Vocation

To aid undergraduate seminarians in exploring the call to the priesthood, the OVM sponsors a program on priestly formation. An experienced priest leads bimonthly meetings, covering such topics as understanding and discerning the priestly call, personal spiritual growth, and balancing ministry and family. Seminarians attend a weekend retreat toward the end of each semester where discussion material is brought together with worship and fellowship.
